The following terms and conditions apply to all visitors or users of the Doreen’s Bakery Ltd. website – www.doreensbakery.ie (the Site). By using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Ownership of rights
All rights, including copyright, in this website, are owned by or licensed to Doreen’s Bakery Ltd. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without our permission.
In order to make a purchase through the Site, or to use some of the services or features made available to you on our website, you may be required to register. When you register, you will be required to provide information about yourself including, but not limited to, your name, telephone number and email address. Should any of your registration information change in future you are required to amend your personal online account. We may change the registration requirements from time to time. Furthermore, when ordering items, you will be required to provide payment details and you represent and warrant that the payment details you provide on ordering are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing information provided.
You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on ‘Confirm Order’ on the Shopping Basket page of our ordering process.
Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order
We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge receipt of your order and to provide you with an order number. If we are unable to fulfil your order following this acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon dispatch of the product(s) ordered. If you require any information concerning your order please email us quoting your order number. Please note that we reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.
Ordering using our Build Your Cake feature
All custom cakes ordered using our online “Build Your Cake” feature must be ordered a minimum of two days prior to collection date. All orders must be placed before 2pm for collection in 2 days.
Allergens for custom cakes –
Vanilla Buttercream/Vanilla Royal Icing – Wholemeal Flour, Wheat, Egg, Soya, Milk, Barley.
Lemon Buttercream/Lemon Royal Icing – Wheat, Egg, Metabisulphite, Milk, Barley, Soya.
Coffee Buttercream/Coffee Royal Icing – Wheat, Egg, Milk, Soya.
Fresh Cream – Milk, Wheat, Egg.
Chocolate Fudge – Wheat, Whey, Milk, Egg, Soya.
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Payment can be made by any of the following methods; Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Laser and Switch. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account at the point at which your order is placed. You confirm that the card being used is yours. Please note that all credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the issuer of the card. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to pay or does not for any reason authorise payment to Doreen’s Bakery, we will not be liable for delay or non-delivery of goods.
Doreen’s Bakery uses Stripe to process all card payments. Stripe is a leading payment service provider and complies with all the PCI DSS. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a worldwide information security standard which dictates how sensitive details such as credit card numbers should be handled, stored and transmitted.
By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you are also agreeing that you have read and understand any allergens listed on any/all products you are purchasing from Doreen’s Bakery.
We offer free delivery within a 25km radius of the bakery, only for orders over €100.00. We will email you once your order is received and again when it is dispatched. For all other orders, we offer a Click and Collect service from our bakery in Bishopstown.
